Rural Access to Wireless is Broadband Solution

By 888 | February 22, 2009

Hello my friends, I am back after taking a short vacation that was much needed. I hope you are all well and in good cheer.

I have some news to share that could be what you need to help you budget your income vs out-flow. I, like millions of other Americans, live in rural settings. Usually that means for TV and high speed broadband you are limited to satellite technology.

I came upon a forum conversation where a gentleman was bubbling over with telling how he changed from WildBlue Satellite to AllTel via the help of an “air-card” also known as a usb broadband access card.

So now instead of getting his high speed internet at home from Wildblue, he gets it from his wireless phone carrier AllTel. He sounds pretty happy friends. And he says he is paying less for a faster connection speed.

Not long after that another forum member joined in to say how she wished to explore the broadband card solution as well.

This is probably not a solution fit for everyone. Like real estate it is probably dependent on location, location and location.

However it sounds interesting enough to pass along as one of those well-hidden money saving tips.

Hang in there friends. ‘Til next time.
